Rocco Ancora Workshop
Workshop Date: January 27 and 28th, 2017
Hawaii Camera Presents is excited to announce it’s latest 2-day workshop for Wedding photographers featuring multiple award winning photographer, educator and Master printer, Rocco Ancora!
This two-day experience on January 27th and 28th 2017 will emphasize a combination of hands-on, location and classroom style approaches. You will learn how a Master Photographer would tackle shooting a Hawaii destination wedding.
First Day: Rocco leads a lecture in posing, lighting with models. Theories and concepts regarding shooting at weddings in chapel setting as well as beach location shooting, using light modifiers and natural light. Attendees will be shooting live models also so bring a camera and lens of any quality.
Second Day: Rocco delves in to editing and Wedding workflow using Adobe Photoshop. Will be very in depth and hands on so bring a laptop and get ready to learn from a grand master. If no laptop, no problem…just be prepared to take ton of notes!

A NYC Fashion Photographer's Secrets to Lighting Studio Portraits
Wednesday, January 7, 2016. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Event starts at 7:00 pm
NYC Fashion Photographer and Maui native, Daeja Fallas, will be discussing her unique approach to lighting portraits in the studio. Daeja will be covering the basics from setting up the Profoto pack, measuring and implementing variations of light to maximize effect, and to test and create the final image.

Hawaii Camera: On-Location Lighting for Wedding Photographers

Current and future wedding photographers, join us for a workshop at Hawaii Camera on how to improve your on and off camera flash skills. Seasoned Wedding pro Kris Labang will be discussing how to quickly setup and shoot Canon and Nikon speedlites.
Kris will also help take the mystery out of wireless remotes and also talk about snap on diffusers. Light pupu and refreshments will be served courtesy of the Kaimuki Superette.
